photo exhibition at the wisoak-school for speech therapy
this topic, three students of the College of Speech Therapy Bremen in their project work have taken on the task. Shown is a combined exhibition at the premises of the Economic and Social Academy wisoak the entrance to the school for speech therapy.
When was aware that I "Different" bin than the other? Have
teachers understand me? What did the parents?
The photo exhibition of the National Association of self-help stutterers eV "heart on their sleeve shows portraits of stuttering people who give us the chance to get to know them better and to understand how stuttering can find their own way. Stuttering in different stages of life reported in short texts about their lives as stuttering. They tell of experiences that restrict their daily lives dramatically. At home and at work, it always comes back to conflict. A telephone call is cause unthinkable for many stutterers. These factors result in limited Participation and quality of life that need to be improved in the therapy. Here, the treatment must be tailored to each person individually.
The exhibition is complemented by exhibits and texts of the project group for the development and therapy of stuttering.
The opening ceremony will on Monday, 16/11/2009 at 19 in the clock Dölvesstraße 8, 1 floor instead. We invite all interested people to visit us!
