new cooperation between the University of Bremen and wisoak / Joint program for teachers
Bremen. The wisoak - Academy of Economic and Social Workers Association, Bremen gGmbH - and the University of Bremen have signed a cooperation agreement to jointly offer a training program for lecturers.
The University Rector Prof. Dr. Wilfried Müller and the manager of wisoak, Hans Jürgen Rauscher, signed on 10 August 2010 agreement. "This should be the prelude to good cooperation between science and practice," said Prof. Müller.
wisoak and the University of Bremen place - starting with the fall semester of 2010 - a common training program for lecturers, teachers and
all who are involved in adult education before. It includes a comprehensive seminar program and the continuing education course "teaching skills training for adults" to help the participants acquire a sound basic qualification for teaching. The aim is a high quality and practical develop training program for adult education and to get a high attractiveness to the target group.

"In the knowledge society, adult education has long been a working field, working in which people from many different professions. Most are grown on their expertise to teachers," says Rauscher.

as a leg on which one can stand alone just bad. With learners lecturers are faced with other demands: How to build learning content in a way that the participants follow me? What methods are suitable for my purposes? As I encounter conflicts within the learning group?
Another aim of the joint initiative is the disk location for teachers to continuously develop and expand. It should stand above all aspects of blended learning and the learning outcome or output orientation.
That in the region a growing need for qualified teachers are, of which both partners are satisfied. It is therefore an object of the new cooperation, to include also other education providers from the region in the training program. "
The program provides weekend seminars as well as the continuing education course "teaching skills training for adults" to acquire with which the participants a sound basic qualifications for teaching. The main topics are the fundamentals of lifelong learning, the planning of courses, communication in learning groups and the use of methods and Media. With the successful completion of the training course, students receive a course certificate from the University of Bremen, which is recognized as evidence of adult teaching qualification in accordance with the Bremen's education law. The course begins in October and includes 170 teaching hours.
